About GETDOT Cincy

GETDOT (Good Excuse To Donate On Thursdays) Cincy is an extension of the original GETDOT located in Columbus, OH.

GETDOT was founded by Chip Ramsay and Scott Boles when they saw a need for quality networking (no business cards exchanged until asked for).  As the events started, Chip and Scott saw the passion of the group and decided to use it as a venue to raise funds for children’s charities.

As the Columbus group grew, so did many folks from Cincinnati driving to Columbus.  As a result, Chip and Scott asked a team in custom papers writing Cincinnati to start a GETDOT group in Cincy.  Initial founders of GETDOT Cincy included Robin Throckmorton, Tom Mobley, Fred Eck, and do my homework online just how to publish an instructional research proposal Mary Carol Parker.  In October 2010, GETDOT Cincy held the first event and had over 100 individuals attend and over $800 raised for Faces without Places Coats for Kids program.

After five years, GETDOT Cincy raised over $19,000 for about 40 children’s charities.

The group continues to grow and added a formal Board in 2014.
